Brandlines Pty. Ltd. was registered as a company by Sil Luksich in 1986.
During this period, many auto parts were manufactured in Australia for both locally produced vehicles and the aftermarket. The two sectors were often referred to as “Genuine” and “Brand Lines.” Sil was convinced that the latter two words were an ideal match for the name of his company - Brandlines Pty Ltd.

Having accumulated extensive experience in the corporate landscape of the auto parts aftermarket, an opportunity emerged for Brandlines to serve as the representative for U.S.A manufacturers of Gabriel Shock Absorbers in the Australian market. The intense competition in the local market for shock absorbers created an opportunity for certain wholesale distributors to import Gabriel Shock Absorbers. The brand rapidly acquired a significant market share. The representation also led to the acquisition of additional shock absorber business under two exclusive "private" brands.

In subsequent years, Brandlines also expanded U.S.A.’s Autolite Spark Plugs brand within Australia through representation rights. Experiencing rapid growth to its product portfolio, Brandlines similarly distributes Filters for “private” brand customers. Another notable addition, consists of Strut Gas Springs, which are currently marketed as Ezilift – a 100% privately owned Australian brand. Today, Brandlines’ primary responsibility revolves around the task to maintain an extensive range of products that cater to the great variety of motor vehicles prevalent in the Australian market.

Following Sil's well-deserved retirement some years ago, his sons, Maurice and Mark have diligently carried on the operations of Brandlines Pty. Ltd., ensuring its continued prominence in the aftermarket scene. Their recent accomplishments include successfully expanding the representation of Brandlines' products in multiple export markets.
